<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method ensuring remarkably high transfer efficiency. SOLUTION: A toner image formed on a 1st image carrier is transferred to an intermediate transfer body and is further transferred to a 2nd image carrier to form the objective image. The surface layer of the intermediate transfer body contains high lubricity powder by 20-80wt.% of the total weight of the surface layer or the angle of contact of the surface of the transfer body with water is 60 deg. and the slippage resistance of the surface is <=200g. The toner is particles each having a central part made of a low softening point compd., an inner layer covering the central part and an upper layer covering the central part and the inner layer. The low softening point compd. of the central part and the materials of the inner and upper layers are distinguishable from one another by a triruthenium tetroxide and triosmium tetroxide dyeing methods.</p> |
