PURPOSE:To prevent generation of damage and positional deviation of the plate glass, by providing a plate glass press pressing a curved surface of the plate glass on the central part of the inner circumference of a stationary mold or a movable mold. CONSTITUTION:A mold is constituted of a stationary mold 1 and movable mold 2, plate glass 4 is held with a holding part 1a of the stationary mold and a holding part 2a of the movable mold and a glass press 5 is provided on an inner circumferential surface of the top force. When the plate glass 4 is pressed by the glass press 5 in a circular state provided on the center of the inside of the movable mold 2 while applying the glass press 5 to the center of the plate glass 4, the plate glass is neither bent nor damaged as there is a distance S1 between the glass press 5 and glass holds 1a, 2a even if a deformation exists on the plate glass 4. Although the stationary mold 1 and movable mold 2 are connected with each other by lowering the movable mold 2 further, in spite of a little dispersion on a curve of the plate glass, the plate glass is held reliable by the plate glass holding parts 1a, 2a and there is no damage on the plate glass. |
