PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of circuits for high speed pulse width modulation(PWM) by adopting the configuration for parallel serial/serial parallel conversion to PWM processing in an image processing unit. SOLUTION: A recovered clock signal whose duty is 50% of that of a clock signal in input data is generated, a triangle wave section 7 generates a triangle wave signal synchronously with the recovered clock signal, comparators 8-14 generates plural reference signals based on the triangle wave signal, and a data conversion section 19 executes serial parallel conversion or parallel serial conversion selectively based on an S/P signal. |
