摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery having electrodes excellent in the adhesiveness between a paste and a current collector and the permeability of a nonaqueous electrolyte by forming the current collector of a positive electrode into a structure three-dimensionally arranged with hollow metal fibers. SOLUTION: The positive electrode of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is constituted of a positive electrode current collector 1 and a positive electrode layer 2 carried by the current collector 1, and the negative electrode is constituted of a negative electrode current collector 3 and a negative electrode layer 4 carried by the current collector 3. A solid polymer electrolyte layer 5 is inserted between the positive electrode layer 2 and the negative electrode layer 4. The current collector 1 of the positive electrode of this battery is formed into a structure three-dimensionally arranged with hollow metal fibers, or a metal film layer formed on a resin core material and the surface of the core material is formed into a structure three-dimensionally arranged with metal fibers. The hollow metal fibers are made of one or more kinds selected from titanium and aluminum. The rate of hole area of the current collector 1 of the positive electrode is preferably set to about 25-55%.
