PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent retractor with pretensioner for seat belt which can efficiently convert the gas pressure to the displacement of a piston, reduce the production cost, and improve the assembling performance. SOLUTION: A piston 40 which is held slidably in a cylinder 24 is constituted to be divided into a piston body 41 formed integrally on one end of a rack 25 with which a pinion gear rotating a take-up shaft 4 of a retractor is engaged and a pressure receiving board 27 which is superposed on the piston body 41 to transfer the gas pressure supplied into the cylinder 24 to the piston body 41. And, an O-ring 26 to retaining the airtightness between the piston 40 and the cylinder 24 is disposed between the piston body 41 and the pressure receiving board 27. |
