<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a low cost by executing the input/output operation of an I/O box under the control of CPU provided for a portable terminal equipment so as to unnecessitate CPU on the side of an I/O box. SOLUTION: When the portable terminal equipment 1 is mounted on a placing plate 2-1, power is charged to a battery box 1-1 and data is transmitted and received between with the portable terminal equipment 1 according to a contactless communication system. On the other hand, an I/O box 2 incorporates a modem to be connected with a host computer through a telephone line and the I/O box 2 has a built-in printer such as a thermal printer to print-output data transmitted from the portable terminal equipment 1 by means of optical communication. Namely, CPU on the side of the portable terminal equipment 1 executes printing operation to the printer and data input/output operation with the host computer. Consequently CPU on the side of the I/O box 2 is unnecessitated to realize a low cost.</p> |
