PURPOSE:To improve the processing accuracy on a curved surface of lens for stabilizing quality by performing a centering process of a lens material on the side peripheral face after working a curve generating process on an A surface of a lens material, next thereto, performing other processes. CONSTITUTION:A lens material 1 is worked in circle on side peripheral face (c) in centering process (7) on making an A surface (a) as a standard, just after a curve generating process (1) on the A surface (a) of the lens material 1. According thereto, it is possible to improve circularity and accuracy on the side peripheral face. After the working in circle, the lens material 1 is gripped by a chuck 19 in a right posture, and worked on processing in a curve generating process (8) for B surface (b) under a condition of closely sticking the A surface (a) of the lens material to a lens receiver. As a result, it is possible to coincide a standard curved surface for B surface (b) making a worked curved surface of the A surface (a) as a standard with the worked curved surface of the B surface actually worked, therefore the thickness of a lens can be made to coincide with the desired one. |
