LINE SECTION OF A GAS-INSULATED LINE

The line section of a gas-insulated line (1) contains a high-voltage electric conductor (4) and a pressure pipe (3) which is made from a thermoplastic material, is filled with insulating gas and holds the electric conductor (4) on insulated supports (2). The pressure pipe (3) has two pipe sections (6, 7) which are welded to one another on the end face and are respectively widened like a trumpet in the radial direction on the end faces facing one another. This conductor section can be produced in an extremely cost-effective fashion and is distinguished at the same time by outstanding dielectric properties.
