PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely separate a printing plate from interleaves and carry the same. SOLUTION: A printing plate carrier device includes a printing plate placing cassette 2 for housing a plurality of printing plates P laminated alternately with interleaves, a vibrating mechanism 3 for supporting the printing plate placing cassette 2 from a lower side and giving vibration to the printing plate placing cassette 2, a printing plate carrying mechanism 4 for taking out the printing plate P from the printing plate placing cassette 2 and the interleaf carrying mechanism 5 for taking out the interleaves from the printing plate placing cassette 2. For carrying the printing plate 2 and the interleaves, vibration is given to the printing plate placing cassette 2 by the vibrating mechanism 3 so as to eliminate static electricity between the printing plate p and the interleaves, then the printing plate P is taken out from the printing plate placing table 2 by the printing plate carrying mechanism 4 and then the interleaves are taken out from the printing plate placing table 2 by the interleaf carrying mechanism 5.
