<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an effective cold tundem rolling mill without developing heat scratch by calculating the tension in a stand so that a sheet temp. in a foil biting in the stand becomes a limited value or lower and controlling the tension in the stand based on this value. SOLUTION: In the forth stand, in which the heat scratch is easily developed on the sheet surface, an estimated temp. Tf of the sheet at the outlet side and a heat scratch control target temp. TL are compared, and in the case of the positive value inΔT=TL-Tf since there is no possibility of developing the heat scratch, the rolling is continued as it is. Then, in the case of being the negative value inΔT=TL-Tf , since there is possibility of developing the heat scratch, the tension condition is changed so thatΔT becomes the positive value, and the rolling is executed.</p> |
