The packaging (10), made from a cardboard blank, comprises side panels (11A,11B) forming the edges of a tubular case. The panels are connected in pairs by parallel longitudinal folding lines (13). One of the panels forms the packaging bottom and the other the lid. The packaging is closed at each end by a flap (15) hinged by a fold line (17) perpendicular to the longitudinal folding lines. Folding the blank into a Z before forming the package volume enables reducing the packaging length.
