The neck adapter has two end parts (11,12), the first (11) has a thread (6) to connect the adapter to a joint socket for a drill train. The second part (12) has a device (9) for transmission of torque to the adapter and drill train. Inside the body is an axially extending flushing medium channel (2), which issues in an outlet aperture (4) in the first end part of the body. A flushing medium is insertable via a radial side inlet hole (3) enclosed by a flushing head. The adapter body (1) is composed of at least two reciprocally closely joined part bodies (1',1''), of which channel-forming hollow spaces (15,15') are located inside the rough central part (10). The hollow space has a greater cross-sectional area than the section (16) of the flushing medium channel which issues in the outlet aperture in the first, small end part of the body. |
