PURPOSE: To prevent an absorptive material from adhering to or remaining in a lesion by structuring the absorptive material which is designed to absorb an exudate from the lesion by applying in the vicinity of the lesion, from laces linking several small fragments of alginic acid or its salts. CONSTITUTION: The absorptive material to absorb the fluid from a lesion under treatment is composed of laces 2 linking together beads 1 of alignic acid or its salts. The absorptive material applied to the vicinity of the legion is to allow the beads 1 to absorb the exudate from the legion and expand themselves. This constitution resolves a problem with a conventional fibered absorptive material which is likely to stick to a lesion, remaining in there.
