PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard rail and a safety sign board formed of resin impregnated reinforced wood with high cushioning property and restoring force and with color suited to scenery, enabling particularly an automobile or the like traveling at night to confirm safety in a wide range by the reflected light or the like of the guard rail or the like while preventing the degradation of wood and synthetic resin. SOLUTION: Using a vacuum-pressure impregnation method, a coloring agent is impregnated into wood, and after drying, synthetic resin is further impregnated into the wood, or synthetic resin with the coloring agent dissolved or mixed therein is impregnated into wood, and this wood is cured by heat reaction to form reinforced wood. This reinforced wood is used to manufacture a safety sign board for a formed guard rail or the like. Or resin impregnated reinforced wood is manufactured using a reflecting agent such as glass or beads as compound material instead of color to manufacture the safety sign board for the formed guard rail or the like. At this time, a thin plate impregnated with the coloring agent and synthetic resin, and a thin plate impregnated with luminous or fluorescent coloring agent and synthetic resin are laminated and cured by heat reaction to obtain a mold, and a thin plate laminated part 2 of this mold is cut and eliminated as far as a layer of the luminous or fluorescent coloring agent. |
