PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping forceps excellent in operability, capable of applying a uniform gripping force between the pair of jaws of an end working part irrespective of change in the open angle of the handle member of an operation part. SOLUTION: A mechanism 36 for converting the force of operating the movable handle 29 of an operation part 13 and a drive mechanism for opening and closing a pair of jaws 16, 17 are combined in complemented fashion, and means are provided for keeping constant the relation between the force of operating the movably handle 29 and the force of gripping the jaws 16, 17, regardless of the open angles of the jaws 16, 17 and the movable handle 29. |
