PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the quality of treated water by reducing leaked org. matter by forming an upper ion exchange bed from a mixed ion exchange resin of a cation exchange resin and an anion exchange resin in a desalting column and, forming a lower ion exchange resin bed from an anion exchange resin alone. SOLUTION: A condensed water desalting apparatus 10 is equipped with a plurality of desalting columns 11 and regeneration equipment 20 regenerating the ion exchange resin in the desalting columns 11 and condensed water is supplied to the upper parts of the respective desalting columns 11 from a condenser through inflow piping 12 and treated water after desalting treatment is allowed to flow out of the lower parts of the desalting columns through outflow piping 13. In each of the desalting columns 11, the upper bed 14A of an ion exchange resin bed 14 is formed from a mixed ion exchange resin CA of a strong acidic cation exchange resin C and a strong basic anion exchange resin A and the lower bed 14B thereof is formed from the anion exchange resin A alone. By this constitution, the leak of org. matter from the cation exchange resin to treated water is reduced and the corrosion of the high temp. and high pressure system such as the boiler of a steam power plant is prevented. |
