PURPOSE:To enhance the lubrication ability of a piston valve by forming a lubrication oil passage in the peripheral surface of a cylinder for guiding a piston valve in a carburetor, and by forming an oil passage for leading lubrication oil into an intake-air passage, in the outer peripheral surface of a piston valve. CONSTITUTION:A lubrication oil passage 39 is formed in the outer peripheral surface of a cylinder 16 for slidably guiding a piston valve 17. An oil passage for leading lubrication oil into an intake-air passage 6 is formed in the outer peripheral surface of a piston valve 17 or in the peripheral surface of the cylinder 15. With this arrangement the piston valve may be sufficiently lubricated. |
