The purpose of the route checking system forming the object of the invention, is to check surveillance patrols in any environment, so as to find out what the route of a guard has been, as well as the time of passing certain strategically distributed points along the route, according to the particular characteristics of the premises to be guarded. It consists of the functional combination of a reader unit 1 and a specified number of control units 2, as elements that the system user utilizes, in addition to a computer program and an adaptor for the reader unit 3 that will enable the system operator, using a personal computer 4, to process all the information generated by the elements at the disposal of the system users. <IMAGE>
