<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spinning reel not making a contact of fingers of a hand with a rotating rotor. SOLUTION: This spinning reel attached to a fishing rod and equipped with a reel main body 2, a rotor 3, a spool 4 and a protecting arm 10. The reel main body 2 contains a mounting leg 2b having a mounting part 2c at the tip part thereof and a reel body 2a installed at the base end of the mounting leg. The rotor 3 has a cylindrical part 3a supported by the reel body 2a freely rotatably, a pair of rotor arms 3b, 3c arranged at the both sides of the cylindrical part 3a so as to put a rotating shaft between, and a bail arm 9 supported by the tips of both rotor arms 3b, 3c freely swingably. The spool 4 is disposed in the front of the rotor 3 and used for winding the fishing line. The protecting arm 10 is disposed between the mounting part 2c and the rotor 3.</p> |
