<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent errneous operation for an unexpected start of a function device which can be started by operation, which is caused by the erroneous operation of an operating member provided in an ignition key during the operation of the ignition key in an ignition lock. SOLUTION: An ignition key-to-vehicle communicating device comprises an electronic ignition key which can be inserted in an ignition lock 22 of the vehicle side, a wireless key-to-vehicle communication channels 2, 7, 12, 21, 26, 30 for starting a vehicle side function device 30 by the operation of an operating member 4 provided on the key side, and erroneous operation preventing means 2, 7 for detecting whether the ignition key 1 is inserted in the ignition lock or not, or whether the ignition key 1 is put in a specified position in the ignition lock 22 or not, and keeping the communication of the ignition key 1 with the function device 30 to be started in the stop state if not.</p> |
