<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a gap between a primary side and a secondary side constant by a method wherein one of the primary side and the secondary side is moved relatively to the other while rotary members which are provided on the primary side and/or on the secondary side are pressed against the surface of the primary side which faces the secondary side and/or against the surface of the secondary side which faces the primary side and turned. SOLUTION: If a propulsion is generated, a magnetic attracting force is generated between a secondary conductor 16 having a magnetic element 16a and a primary stator 14 and hence the primary stator 14 and the secondary conductor 16 are deformed so as to come closer to each other. A rotary roller 31 to which a moving unit 22 is fixed is provided in the middle of a rim supporting mechanism 17. A distance between the center of a roller shaft 33 and the top surface of the primary stator 14 is equal to the radius of the rotary roller 31. As the rotary roller 31 is made of a rigid material, the distance is not varied. Therefore, even if the magnetic attraction force is applied, a gap between the secondary conductor 16 and the primary stator 14 can be always kept constant.</p> |
