<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction and damage of equipment concerned in starting a pull-in operation of a cassette. SOLUTION: A timing alternation lever 8 supported in its middle part in the longitudinal direction freely turnably by a cassette holder 2 is selectively engaged by its tip 8b with a magnetic tape cassette loaded in the cassette holder 2. Then, on the cassette moving end side, openings 8d and 8e provided at the other end of the timing alternation lever 8 are detected by a light emitting part and a light receiving sensor, and then, in its detecting timing, the cassette pull-in operation is started up. Consequently, the accurate cassette pull-in operation can be performed even for such magnetic tape cassettes which are different in external dimensions, respectively.</p> |
