<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always grasp the service life of a machine based on the use conditions for the user of the machine by counting the use time of that machine, subtracting the value of service life based on that count and displaying the current service life value visibly for the user of that machine. SOLUTION: When the service life value of a machine 1 is inputted from an input part 11, it is stored in a storage part 15. When a power source switch 2a of the machine 1 is turned on, a timer 14 starts measuring time from that time. Besides, a display part 12 displays the service life value stored in the storage part 15. When the timer 14 counts one hour, '1' is subtracted from the current service life value by a subtraction part 13, and the display on the display part 12 is changed. The display part 12 displays the current service life visibly for the user. The display part 12 is formed from LCD or CRT, for example, and displays 'remaining duration time', namely, the service life of the machine 1 for the unit of hour (h).
