<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize sludge containing oil as a killing agent for slag foaming. SOLUTION: The oil-containing sludge 2 is deposited in a sludge settled vessel and separated from water 21 and once, carried into a basin 8 and after dehydrating, this dried aludge is piled on a solar drying field 7. Natural drying is executed with solar heat and this sludge is made to be a dried oil-containing sludge 20 having <=40wt.% moisture and also, a binder is added from a binder spraying machine 24 loaded on a truck 23, and this sludge is kneaded and aged and further, made to coarse granulation. This dried oil-containing sludge 20 is discharged from a portable hopper 22 as the killing agent for slag foaming and charged into the foaming slag 15 floated on desiliconized molten iron 10 in a torpedo car 11 to quickly kill the foaming of the slag by foaming killing action by gasifying the oil content.</p> |
