<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat oil content easily and surly in a grease trap and to prevent the generation of offensive odors by a method in which a part or the whole of the inside surface of an oil-water separating chamber in a tank for receiving drainage is made uneven to increase the surface area, and an air supply device for aeration is incorporated in the oil-water separating chamber. SOLUTION: In the right and left side walls of an oil-water separating chamber 5, corrugated plated 12 are fixed to parts which are above a water passages 7, 8. A partition panel 3 is flat, while a partition panel 2 is made of a corrugated plate. Accordingly, the surface area of the three inside walls of the chamber 5 is greater than the ordinary. Bacteria and bacteria colonies are apt to adhere to the inside wall surface, especially to the recessions, and the adhesion of oil is also easy. Air is supplied from an air supply device 13 of an aerator installed in the bottom part of the chamber 5 to conduct the diffusion of oil and the aerobic biological treatment of drainage. Besides, it is recommended to install air supply devices 14, 15 in water receiving chamber 4 and a treated water chamber 6.</p> |
