<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow meter of small pressure loss, which can measure the rate of flow accurately in the turbulent condition and which can be accomplished in a small size at low cost. SOLUTION: This thermal type flow meter is composed of a flow velocity sensor 1 of such a structure that a plurality of flow sensing elements 4 are laid in line on a board 2, a power supply to supply power to the sensor 1, and a flow rate calculating means 8 which calculates the rate of flow from the supplied power. A straightening cover 5 is installed as confronting the board 2, wherein the board 2 and cover 5 are shaped so that their rears are swelling, and the plane portions of the two members are positioned opposingly so as to produce a passage for fluid, and the sensor element 4 is mounted on the plane of the board 2.</p> |
