<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the partial wear of a brake pad in the case where a disc rotor inclines, and moreover wrong alignment between a piston and a cylinder. SOLUTION: A cylinder member 30 and a middle member 44 severally come into spherical contact with spherical sliding faces 26, 42, and can thereby oscillate to a caliper 22. When a disc rotor 20 inclines in a state where an inner pad 36 and an outer pad 48 are pressed against the disc rotor 20, the inner pad 36 and the cylinder member 30, and the outer pad 48 and the middle member 44 severally follow the inclination and unitedly oscillate, and the inner pad 36 and the outer pad 48 are therefore uniformly pressed against the disc rotor 20, and the direction of reaction force from the disc rotor 20 to a piston 32 coincides with its sliding direction.</p> |
