Parodontosis prophylactic device

摘要

Parodontosis prophylactic device which enables air to be circulated in the gaps between the teeth to destroy anaerobic bacteria is claimed. The device is made e.g. from a preferably elastic grid-, spiral- or skeletal form material in the shape of a tube, roll or sheet which may be cut to length or supplied in long lengths from which pieces of desired length can be cut. The material is positioned in the mouth to lie between the teeth and the lips or cheeks to allow air access. The device is preferably fabricated as a disposable item and is made e.g. from plant-based raw materials, especially impregnated paper fibres. The device may be used as a carrier for a medicinal agent.
