PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely add the effects including vibrato, tremolo and reverberation to the generated musical sound by the finger which decides a pitch. SOLUTION: A musical instrument main body 1 is provided with a pitch deciding unit 2, which has a pole section 1a, detects the position on the section 1a that is pressed by the finger of a player and outputs the pitch decided signal corresponding to the position in an arrow indicated A-B direction in a displacement variable manner. Between the unit 2 and the body 1, a musical sound controlling signal generating section 3, which detects the variation in the relative position between the unit 2 and the body 1, is provided and a musical sound signal generating section controls the generated musical sound signals in accordance with the musical sound controlling signal and adds the effects such as vibrato. |
