PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form easily a checking opening for a joint box, by reducing the size of the opening to the required minimum and to very simply and surely perform both the confirmation of the connection state of cables and their repairings. SOLUTION: A joint box 1, disposed vertically movably to a hanging bolt 22 is drawn out downward from a wall hole 25, formed in a double-ceiling wall 23 of a building wherethrough the joint box 1 can be passed. Then, the joint box 1 is checked and repaired from the inside of a room, and thereafter, the joint box 1 is lifted to be stored it in a double-ceiling space 24.
