摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output coordinates without increasing the frequency of reciprocation of an input indicating means by selecting one of both coordinate output modes or combining the both, or selecting or combining a resolution pattern and a high-order function and performing the coordinate output of absolute and relative values. SOLUTION: A control part 4 is set to one of the absolute value coordinate output mode and relative coordinate output mode, or their combination with an indication signal from an external device 10. When the control part 4 is set to the absolute value coordinate output mode, the control part 4 outputs coordinate values, detected by moving the input indicating means 5 with conductor films 11 and 12 in contact, as absolute values according to the origin of a coordinate system and the upper-limit and lower-limit values of the respective axes. When the control part is set to the other relative coordinate output mode, on the other hand, the control part 4 outputs the quantities of variation in coordinate value per unit time. Namely, the quantities of variation as absolute coordinate values are supplied to the high-order function and converted into optimum coordinate values. The degree and parameter values of his high-order function are selected out of parameter information on high-order functions of stored patterns, converted, and outputted.</p>
