PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such cases in which the control radio waves are accurately received at an area where the user of a portable telephone set is prohibited and its neighborhood is annoyed by preparing a device which transmits radio waves that has undergone phase or pulse modulation of the same frequency as the control radio waves. SOLUTION: The suppressing radio waves are transmitted via a PHS antenna 4, a 1.5GHz band antenna 5 and a 800/900MHz band antenna 6 which are provided on the main body 1 of a communication suppressor. These suppressing radio waves undergo phase modulation of the same frequency as the control radio waves received from a relay station of every mobile telephone set. As the control radio waves used for the portable telephone sets, etc., undergo the phase modulation, the transmitted control radio waves have contacts and are unable to accurately transmit the data. Thereby, a mobile telephone set such a portable telephone set, etc., cannot accurately read the control data on the control radio waves, register itself in a system nor perform terminating/ originating operations, even when the power switch of the telephone set is turned on. |
