The invention relates to a device for curing plastics by means of radiation. It comprises a receptacle for the object to be irradiated as well as a radiation source. In order to guarantee effective protection between the radiation sources and the object to be irradiated, in a reliable and cost-effective manner, a protective sheet of borosilicate glass is arranged between the object to be irradiated and the radiation source.
