MICROPHONE ARM ASSEMBLY

This invention relates to a hands-free microphone arm assembly of the type used for cellular phones and two-way radios for mounting in a vehicle. It comprises a base and an arm with a microphone on its free end. The arm is universally mounted for adjustment with respect to the base to dispose the microphone in proximity to the user's lips sufficiently close to transmit the user's voice in use and the microphone has a circuit that includes a microphone load of a magnitude to reduce microphone efficiency in use, thereby substantially eliminating transmission of ambient noise.
