SOLUTION: When commercial power for home inputted from a power input terminal 48 is interrupted, the smoother 34 of small capacity inputs dropped voltage to a voltage comparator 36 and the voltage comparator 36 sends a signal without commercial power to CPU 20. CPU 20 receiving input connects a switch 24 to an LPF 18-side, and a switch 38 and a switch 42 to a liquid crystal monitor 40-side. At that time, a low frequency component being power input is inputted to the input terminal 46 of a CATV home terminal 10. The power input is supplied to the rectifier 26 of large capacity through LPF 8 and the switch 24. Thus, prescribed outputs appear in a voltage stabilizing part 30 and they are supplied to respective parts. Then, the CATV home terminal 10 can be operated.
