<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily distinguish between transfer paper on which an interrupt has been done in a nonsorting mode and other transfer paper. SOLUTION: This sorter includes a plurality of bins 40, a first conveying line 36 through which transfer paper conveyed in from a copier main body is conveyed to the bins 40, a paper processing part 34 in which the transfer paper conveyed to the bins 40 is processed, a shift tray 32 in which the processed transfer paper in the bin 40 is stacked, a second conveying line 37 through which the transfer paper is conveyed from the bins 40 to the shift tray 32, a third conveying line 38 through which the transfer paper conveyed in from the copier main body is conveyed to the shift tray 32, and first and second direction changing plates 141, 142 by which the transfer paper conveyed in from the copier main body can be fed selectively to at least either the first or third conveying line 36 or 38. When an interrupt is ordered in a nonsorting mode, the first and second direction changing plates 141, 142 are operated so that the transfer paper on which the interrupt has been done is unloaded onto the shift tray 32 that has been moved to a special unloading position.</p> |
