PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the introduction of a sound field supporting system. SOLUTION: Sound field control units 62 are constituted by disposing speaker units 72 and microphone units 78 in casings. These sound field control units 62 are connected to each other by composite cables. The sound collecting signals and control signals of the respective sound field control units 62 are transferred and received to and from the respective sound field control units 62. The sound collecting signals of the respective sound field control units 62 are successively changed over in the sound collecting signal changeover circuits 132 in the sound field control units 62 and are reproduced from the speaker systems 72. In an adjustment mode, the frequency characteristics in an open loop and the frequency characteristics in a closed loop are measured and programmable equalizers 134, 140 are automatically adjusted in such a manner that the characteristics are flattened.
