PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the safe use of a liquid agent which has low toxicity to the eyes while having sufficiently sterilizing power. SOLUTION: This liquid agent for contact lenses contains the carboxylic acid type amine expressed by the formula [where, R1 denotes 6 to 18C alkyl group; R2 denotes 1 to 18C alkylene group; A denotes Na, K or H; X denotes H or -R3 COOB group (where R3 is 1 to 18C alkylene group and B is Na, K or H)] as an antiseptic or sterilizing effective component for the liquid agent for contact lens. |
