LIGHT DIFFUSION SHEET, PROJECTION TYPE SCREEN FORMED BY USING THE SAME AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light diffusion sheet which does not generate moires when used for a rear surface projection type television and enables the respective independent setting of the visual field angle in a horizontal direction and the visual field angle in a perpendicular direction when used for a front surface projection type television and allows the widening of the visual field angle while suppressing the degradation in the contrast of images when used for a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: This light diffusion sheet is formed by providing the surface of a transparent film 1 with a first light diffusion layer 2 and providing the surface of this first light diffusion layer 2 with a second light diffusion layer 3, thereby laminating two layers of the light diffusion layers on the transparent film 1. The first light diffusion layer 2 is formed by incorporating a light diffusion material into a transparent resin and the second light diffusion layer 3 consists of a transparent resin formed with periodic rugged structures on the surface.
