<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alminum melting furnace which can efficiently melt cold material, by arranging a ladle for receiving molten metal at the lower side part of a molten metal tapping hole arranged at the bottom part of the melting furnace body so as to be freely elevated/lowered and enabling tilting of the ladle so as to flow out the molten metal at the position of a material charging hole. SOLUTION: At one side part of the stationary type aluminum melting furnace body 1, the material charging hole 2 for charging the cold material A (thin scrap, etc.) is arranged, and at the bottom part thereof, the molten metal tapping hole 3 is opened, and at the other side wall, a burner 4 for heating and raising the surface temp. of the molten metal, is fitted. At the lower side part of the molten metal tapping hole 3, the ladle 5 incorporating a fixed quantity of molten metal tapping from the molten metal tapping hole 3, is arranged and constituted so as to rise along guide rails 7 in a frame body 6 with a hydraulic cylinder and turn and tilt above the material charging hole 2 and supply the molten metal into the furnace body 1. By this constitution, the molten metal in the ladle 5 can be poured on the upper surface of the cold material A, and then, the cold material A can quickly and efficiently be melted in a minimum limit of oxidizing loss and the productivity is remarkably improved.</p> |
