PLASTIC CARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase mechanical and physical strengths in an IC card or the like and to prevent abrasion of both a printing part of the surface and the surface of a plastic plate for protection and to prevent close adhesion of the mutual cards. SOLUTION: The surface 3 and the circumference of the body 1 of a card substrate are covered with a transparent plastic plate 2. Further, the peripheral part 4 of the plastic plate 2 is raised and made slightly higher than its surface (central part 5). The foot part 7 of the plastic plate 2 is slightly projected from the surface (rear 8) of the card and furthermore the upper and lower corner parts 10 of the plastic plate 2 are curved.
