METHOD FOR DECIDING ROLLING ORDER IN ROLLING PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide the rolling order of materials in a rolling plant so that the cost of rolling is reduced by prolonging the period of rolling roll change and products having stable quality are manufactured. SOLUTION: The rolling order is decided by a rolling data sorting process for separating into materials which require heavy rolling load and materials which require light rolling load based on the attribute of the material, 1st rolling order optimizing process for deciding the rolling order of the materials which require heavy rolling load by a performance function, process for satisfying the restriction of the number of continuous rolling for appropriating the materials which require small rolling load so as to satisfy the restriction of the number of continuous rolling to the rolling order obtained by the optiumizing process and 2nd rolling order optimizing process for deciding the rolling order of the materials which require small rolling load by the performance function.
