The lock has a linkage (4) actuating bolts which lock the window to a door and which is connected to a lock (1) mounting (3). At the level of the connection (7) between the movable lock mounting and the linkage rods is at least one wedge (8) which is inactive during normal use of the lock and which is automatically activated by gravity in case of deformation and-or displacement of the mechanism under a forcing action to engage with a fixed section (14) adjacent to the connection to block the lock mechanism. The wedge can be mounted pivotally on the coupling of the rods to the movable mounting and the fixed section can be part of the lock casing (2). |
