FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: process is realized under conditions of generation of wheel by gear-shaping cutter wheel with numbered tools. Angles of sharpening of tools are determined with allowance for " numbered corrections "calculated by formula depending on values of angles of generation, rated angle of profile of tooth of gear-wheel, inclination of circular tooth, line of tooth space, angle of root of tooth, radius of movement of gear-shaping cutter wheel, average cone distance, rated radius of gear-shaping cutter wheel and angle of setting of tools of gear-shaping cutter wheel.
