PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a region, in which no printing is executed due to the drum groove of a rubber blanket cylinder, from enlarging even when the peripheral register is adjusted by a method wherein a second plate cylinder is equipped with a second driving device and no form binding driving binding part to the blanket cylinder attached to the second plate cylinder is set to be arranged. SOLUTION: This printing unit 1 consists of a first and a second plate cylinders 2 and 3 and rubber blanket cylinders 4 and 6, which cowork in pairs. The plate cylinders 2 and 3 and the rubber blanket cylinders 4 and 6 are equipped with journals 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17 and 18 supported by the side frames 19 and 21 at the respective both ends of the cylinders. Further, the second plate cylinder 3 is equipped with its own driving device 27 or an electric motor so as to synchronize with the blanket cylinder 6 by means of the driving device 27 of the second plate cylinder 3 without providing a driving binding part. Accordingly, the region, in which no printing is executed duet to the drum grooves of the rubber blanket cylinders 4 and 6, can be prevented from enlarging. |
