PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a document which gives an impression of a totally orderly document without changing the start positions of paragraphs by arranging a character string according to a selected character arrangement start position. SOLUTION: A CPU 106 when judging that there is a paragraph display column number in a work RAM 108 finds the display start position of the 1st line of the program from the paragraph display column number and stores it as A in the work RAM 108. Then the display start position of the 1st line of the paragraph is found from the number of program number characters and stored as B in the work RAM 108. Then, the A and B stored in the work RAM 108 are compared with each other and the larger one is stored as C in the work RAM 108. Further, when there is not the number of paragraph display columns, the display start position of the 1st line in the paragraph is found from the number of paragraph number characters and stored as C in the work RAM 108. Further, the paragraph character number is displayed by using a video RAM 102 and the C stored in the RAM 108 is regarded as the display start position of the 1st line in the paragraph to display data through the video RAM 102. |
