STERILIZATION WITH OZONE AND DEVICE FOR STERILIZATION WITH OZONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sterilizing with ozone, enabling to efficiently exhibit a sterilization effect with a small amount of the ozone. SOLUTION: This method for sterilizing a material 6 to be sterilized with ozone comprises producing dew water drops on the surface of the material under the atmosphere of ozone and sterilizing the surface of the material 6 by the oxidation reaction of the ozone absorbed and dissolved in the dew water drops. Therein, a surfactant may be added to the dew water drops produced on the surface of the material 6. The ozone sterilization device is provided with a double structure sterilization chamber 5 manufactured by disposing a cover of heatable outer shell chamber 4 on an inner shell 3 equipped with an ozone-generating member 1 and a humidity-controlling member 2 and capable of being cooled. The sterilization chamber 5 may be equipped with a carrying means for carrying the material 6 into the inner shell chamber 3. The sterilization chamber 5 equipped with the ozone-generating member and the humidity- controlling member may be connected to a cooling chamber for cooling the material 6 through a carrying means for the material.
