PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily recognize an insufficient charging by always detecting the charge quantity of a battery means with a control means, and generating a charge warning signal when the charge quantity is lower than a prescribed value. SOLUTION: A storage battery 16 storing the electric power generated by a solar cell 6 always feeds the electric power to an IC 17 controlling the whole watch functions. The IC 17 transmits the drive signal 18 to an analog block 19 including a hand display wheel train and a liquid crystal cell 20, and they receive the drive signal 18 and display the time with hands 7 and digital displays 8. The IC 17 always detects the voltage. When the voltage value of the storage battery 16 becomes lower than a prescribed value, the IC 17 judges that the charge quantity is lowered and transmits the charge warning signal 21 to the analog block 19 and the liquid crystal cell 20. When the normal operation state is shifted to the charge warning state, the second hand within the hands 7 makes the two-sec movement to warn a charge shortage. The charge warning mark within the digital displays 8 is blinkingly displayed to further emphasize an insufficient charge. |
