摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a required memory capacity by storing data from a top field and a bottom field separately to different segments of the memory and re-configuring the top field for a period when re-configuration is extended. SOLUTION: Coded video data are stored temporarily to a rate buffer 804 from a data channel 802 in a bit stream form. A symbol or an event is re-configured into an original frame by a re-configuration device 808, and the data frame are given to a picture buffer 801 via a data channel 810 from the re- configuration device 808, and B-frames are divided into three segments S1, S2, S3 of the picture buffer 801. The memory capacity required to store and display the B frame is smaller than the capacity for one frame. When any of the segments S1-S3 for the B frame is displayed, the segment is released for re-configuration data.</p>
