<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of obtaining sufficient aperture quantity for removing paper without necessitating a large space and removing jammed paper without injuring the hand of an operator. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a heat roller 72 fixing an image on the paper, a peeling pawl 75 whose top end part is brought into contact with the heat roller 72 and which peels the paper stuck to the heat roller 72, and an arm mechanism 76 for supporting the peeling pawl 75 to be freely nearer and away to/from the heat roller 72 and allowing the pawl 75 to be away from the heat roller 72 while keeping the same posture state as a posture at the time of being brought into contact with the heat roller 72 when the peeling pawl 75 is away from the heat roller 72.</p> |
